About Us
Leadership
Christchurch North Apostolic Church is led by the pastor together with a team of elders. The leadership team is responsible for the overall direction of the church and for the well-being of members.
Warren Hight is the pastor of the church and he and his family moved to Christchurch to take up this role at the beginning of 2004.
Purpose
Our purpose is described in our mission statement: “Empowering to worship, equipping to serve, enabling many to follow Jesus.”
Values
We are a member church of the Apostolic Church Movement in New Zealand, and share its heritage and its mission in our own nation and overseas. We are accountable to the leadership of the Movement in New Zealand.
We have a strong appreciation of families as an important part of our church's life, and of the need for people of different cultures to be able to meet in worship and to share life together.
Sound teaching from the Bible is a central aspect of our worship, as we seek to experience God through his Holy Spirit.
We encourage believers to be committed to a local church, and that in belonging and in serving one another, they touch a dimension of life that God intends.
